FP were touting VRE back in 2006-2007. I had some discussions with them about this because I could not agree with their valuation. They only convinced me that they were just speculators and did not have any more of clue than me. Luckily I sold out very soon afterwards, only a couple of weeks before VRE went into a trading halt and then into a deep sleep from which it never awakened.

Best to due your own due diligence and seek the advice of people who actually understands the issues. If it smells stay away unless things are in an uptrend, when you can offload more easily should things not turn out right.

I am not saying SLR is another VRE at the current AUD POG, just that FP=rubbish advice unless the market is uptrending and you monitor things closely.
