Hi Coolstocks, not really. I would have preferred it was at a higher rate, but it was at 90cents just 5 days before the raising so was obviously in motion before the rise to $2.00 and may in fact not have been at a discount at all.

Because of this raising, Benitec has been seriously de-risked. If TT-034 doesn't work, and it may not, the company can just go on to the next project without having to worry where the money to continue is going to come from. Sure the shareprice will probably drop 50% if TT-034 doesn't work. But the share price will still be $1. Without this cash, the shareprice would have plummetted and shareholders would have been expected to support the next raising at 20 cents.
