Abelco Investment Group updates the market around the portfolio company RightBridge and the development in ESPL

Esports Players League ("ESPL") is now one of the fastest growing esports platforms in Southeast Asia.

In the most recent round of financing in ESPL, Abelco's portfolio company RightBridge Ventures ("RightBridge") was the leading investor along with high quality investors such as Genting Ventures and Warner Music Asia.

After the financing round, RightBridge sees a very positive development of ESPL and is very pleased with the company's latest trend and increasing user base. The user base in Singapore has, among other things, increased by about 120% since day one. In the fastest growing markets such as India and Bangladesh, ESPL has seen an increase of up to 300%. ESPL is currently showing tremendous growth and has in recent months (April to July) had a doubling of the number of users each month.

The highly scalable business model in ESPL has also delivered rapid geographical expansion to over 15 countries. Through the expansion, ESPL can now attract brands that can use ESPL as a new media platform to reach new consumers. ESPL supports RightBridge's investment strategy that esport and gaming are the new medium for the new digital economy and the latest growth in ESPL strengthens RightBridge's continued expansion in the area.
