As you say Payman has been in politics for 5 minutes but under the control of the ALP. Only now she's an Independent she can actually put forward her views & what she believes in, perhaps you should give her time to do that before passing judgement?
Payman has been vocal in her support for the people of Palestine, inline with a substantial section of the electorate. That's not hypocritical nor sowing division.
