she's a member for her state, not an electorate. most who voted for her would not likely have heard her name before.

she's entirely indebted to the party.

I believe in free speech and her interview today was excellent. a calm articulate person of faith representing the state and her fellow Muslims. well at least that how I read her priorities. but the Party demands total loyalty and adherence to the rules.

not sure if she loses her seat if the party sacks her.

Under the constitution she stays in as an independent, if she resigns or vacates her seat for any reason then the next person on the ticket usually gets selected.
