Shouldnt there be some B2 news about now?
They have been conducting "extended testing" for 15 days now. One poster did mention it could be 4-6 weeks.
I wonder why both Bongo wells required such a long flow test duration.
Remember Bongo 1? They tested that for a good 3-4 months before releasing flow rates to the market.
Hopefully theyre being over precautious and we will hear news sooner than later.
Id like to think that they are holding tight for B2 flows rather than SD flows. To determine how much to farm and if they can get away with no farmout at all.
As im guessing hooking up B2 to production will be a lot faster than a 45 day TD drill time followed by 2-3 week flows test and then piping. By the time SD was making us money, if it does at all, it will be too far in the future to bank on and delay FP2 for.
