Hmm. Good luck with that. The fulfillment of 'contract' is about more than just delivering the final product (holiday), it's also about the work done in the lead up. Given FLT's offer a credit, I don't think this has much in the way of legs at all.
These days everyone calls for a class action, if not a Royal Commission, at the drop of a hat. If I had paid for a multi-thousand dollar holiday, and a pandemic struck, I think I would be rather relieved that I was only up for a cancellation fee. What's more, I'd be thanking my lucky stars I had booked through a company that could honor that.
