I reckon International Roast is not bad for the price, but I'm not a great fan of the Aldi freeze dried coffee even though I like the store and most of its goods.
I now roast my own coffee beans and have become spoilt as a result. I buy green beans and roast them in small batches trying to pick the different characteristics of the different beans from the various coffee regions available. There's about 1000 or so bean styles to pick from. Then it's a matter of getting the right roast depth for each individual origin/type. Then you can blend your various origins to get the desired result. It's doing my head in a little, but I'm having fun as a result.
