michaelmfranz I'm in WA, we don't have the likes of Aldi unfortunately. I like Woolworth's Select Espresso coffee beans - not as adventurous as you Club_sharer, even though I did buy a coffee bush and it's doing well, yet to get fruit. I think Homebrand Spring Rolls are more than adequate, tasty, more content and not greasy. Homebrand crisps taste fine, if people find they 'lack' a little flavour it's probably because they haven't buried them in flavouring. And 'if you must'(I prefer fresh)- Homebrand Lasagna(frozen) is as good as major brands. That's just a few. I'm willing to give unknown brands a taste test also. You would be amazed how damn average the 'majors' are!
