favourite live performance

Used to love getting out to see live bands, but stayed well clear of large venues/stadiums, unless it was the Big Day Out.Does limit a little the size of bands I saw but there were many great performances.

Offspring at UWA were awesome in a room of 200-300 people and soaked us with the fire hydrant afterwards.

Metro's Freo used to host some good bands, George Thorogood, Angels but my favourite live performance was at this venue and was the Violent Femmes. Smashed it up to packed venue with all three members standing in a row at the front of the stage!

Other memorable performances include the Divinyls at the Peninsula in Mandurah, James Reyne at the Stadium(Herdsman Hotel) and Midnight Oil and the Whitlams at Metro's Perth-OK I like my Aussie bands, but they were good shows through the 90's and from the Big Day Out favourites were Silverchair, Rage Against the Machine, The Cult, Custard TISM and You am I.

Just a few off the top of my head-lol!
