FB Marketplace observations

There has been quite a marked change in my local FB Marketplace.

Compared to 6 months ago there seems to be a lot more people trying to offload some of their stuff.

I'm interpreting this as people scrounging for cash.

Trouble is that there are stacks of them trying to offload often near new equipment at high prices. There seem to be few buyers,

6 months ago I sold some items and gave away other items. Buyers were plentiful but today it seems they have dried up.

My interpretation is that an increasing number of people are either in trouble or can see trouble approaching.

Cash will be king.
