Trump defied a Subpoena, hid the documents, lied to the FBI, and refused to return the government's documents when asked multiple times over a long period.
Everyone else returned the documents they had, including Biden and Pence.
If Trump had of returned the documents when asked, he wouldn't be facing charges.
Trump is the only one responsible for the mess he is in, noting anyone else would already be in jail for the same deeds.
Trump is a victim of his own actions.
Trump called his candidacy earlier than normal because he knew he was in the sheet, and he was hoping by calling his candidacy, it would shield him from facing, at least in part, the consequences of his own actions.
