I believe Insto's have a different arrangement to the likes of us. They pay a fee for trading a set block of shares, say 500k, and they can do that in any way they please and with as many trades as they like, so a trade of just one share costs them nothing really. Normally retail traders like us can't trade less than a certain number usually conditional on the share price.
