    Damn ATO and their pesky taxes!

    But in reality if the company made an announcement and you bought back in after the announcement, be it 24 hours or 5 days later, you can always argue that the announcement made you change your opinion of the company. Whether they believe you or not is another thing though.

    Easier just to not risk it imho.
