We are thrilled to announce that Mark Pivac, CEO of ASX-listed Fastbrick Robotics, will lead our Guest Conversation on Thursday 5 June. Mark is the founder and inventor of the unique Dynamic Stabilisation Technology used on the Hadrian X automated bricklaying machine. With a team of around 50 people, Fastbrick Robotics is building the future of construction in Perth. Mark has a BEng in Aerospace engineering and a broad range of experience in the design, maintenance and operation of high-tech equipment ranging from industrial automation and robots to aircraft. FBR won the WA Innovator of the year award in 2016, an Edison Gold award in 2019 and Mark completed an executive program at Singularity University in Silicon Valley in 2019. FBR is now building houses and commercial buildings in WA and demonstrating robotic solutions for customers across the globe. They recently began a major residential project in Miami, Florida. Mark brings an engineering founder’s perspective to the journey of taking an idea, through prototyping and R&D, to growth, funding and listing a company and building a team and products for a global market.
