That is untrue IMO. Long term investors do very much care about the share price as when companies require additional money they have to raise capital and it is normally at a discount to the current price and if the price is very low like FBR that means heavy dilution. Companies doing R&D that are pre revenue are constantly diluting shareholders until they can get to revenue. When they are very poorly managed as this one is it happens far more frequently than it should.
