Thanks for pointing out the obvious that the Wienerberger blocks were designed for a different application and not for Robotic Construction
Whether this was deliberate from FBR and Wienerberger we don't know..But it worked...They achieved a monolithic wall built by a robot using clay blocks.
In Europe they point fill the perp end joint with mortar and apply a parge coat to seal the wall. FBR have essentially done the same using slightly more mortar and not needing to apply a parge coat because of Perth's climate
Wienerberger will make robotic specific blocks and you will eat your words again, and again...and again..
