Agree Jez , re demonstration and make or break for FBR.
I guess the odds are very much h in FBR favour I'd they get to demonstration stage.
Hadrian110Prior to 10 build demonstration FBR need to
- built a US building code compliant structure single leaf with US blocks with a peak laying speed of 300 blocks an hour
- Achieved a commercial target of 300 blocks an hour for a 750 block structure
Seems a lot of rigorous involved , demos will basically be a test reliability and sustainabilty , could be a problem.
- Do a FAT (factory acceptance test) at FBR HQ
- Then in Florida at an agreed site , do a site acceptance test similar to FAT , and inspected by a structural engineer.
