2 different things mate.
Hydrogen is energy storage like batteries.
Wind, Solar, Gas, and Nuclear are power generation.
The grid needs both generation and storage. You can pick and choose a mix from both lists, but hydrogen can't generate itself.
If you choose gas/nuclear, you need less storage.
