Yes and I have tried to explain this to Troopy, With block walls doors and windows are easily measurable as it is mostly 2 blocks 3 blocks etc wide. external doors are 870 or 920 except double doors. and windows are made a few mm narrower than the opening and packed out.
Height is usually the same as well. 2 blocks, 3 blocks etc. there is exceptions but easier to get right than timber frames and ext brick.
