I have been wanting to talk about this for awhile. I will keep it short for today.
I know you were invested in WBT. Bozwell was influenced by you and followed. Both of you did well.
And yes, I know who are these so called "large funds" that shorted WBT.
But I think its better not to confuse facts with perception. Otherwise reality ironically becomes conspiracy.
The "large funds" have left WBT alone since April. However the shorts of WBT now still stands 8.57%, top 12 in most shorted stocks.
Specificaly, if large funds shorted a company, certain ANNs about change in substantial holdings have to be made.
FBR never had any of these. With real income and commercialisation in the horizon, I hope never will.
So far what happend with FBR is mostly Retail shorts. And very light volume in terms of percentage of OS shares floated in market.
I.e. we are sabotage by a proportionally small group of people / holdings. (Will consolidation address this? Again leave it for another time)
There is no evidence to date that showed any large funds have actively shorted FBR. FBR shorts rarely even touch 1% of OS shares in past 3 years.
BRN had dropped back to its pre-covid level , since its heady moonshot days of 2022. But I dont find any evidence or ANNs that the "large funds" you talked about were behind this.
DRO apparently had its moon shot recently and halve in its SP soon after. Again no evidence and ANNs that pointed to the "large funds". Perhaps Stormchaser is the best person to comment.
Quick search on 4DS using key words "change in substantial holder" did not point to any "large funds" behind its 2 surge and decline cycle.
BRN, WBT, 4DS seemingly rode the AI / microchips wave. None of them had yet turn in profits. Maybe I got this wrong: none of them have commercialised? WBT is still at the demo stage? You and Bozwell are best suited to answer.
However, TTT (if you people remember) had its moonshot in 2018. Then become a short target of the "large funds". Never recovered since.
While ASX is not the cleanest place on earth, I dont think they just let insider trading run rampant, let alone in cahoots.
So yea, facts vs perception.
