The CHIPS act. According to the reports I’ve read, china is in deep shit at the moment. People keep forgetting the number one imports to china is semiconductor. Regardless how much IP theft they might had, there is a big gap in being able to buy the right equipment. Don’t forget during the cat days, the talk of a specialized black box and cat manufacture the other components are talked about. China simply lack the equipment to do it.
