Thanks for this post. Excellent explanation of the process and specific requirements for building codes linked to hurricane regions. Explains the bonded beams and their purpose. Also the reinforcing of the structure. for those of us not close to the details on the building code requirement this was great.

Great we have seen the "Mexico" demo with Hadrian X, where they demonstrated the process of building a wall with the reinforced steel tie ins inserted after the walls assembled using the screw in fitting at first course of bricks.

The video above looks like it is in within the demonstrated capability of for Hadrian X.

There are a couple of open questions for me (not show stoppers)
    - does Hadrian have the capability to lift the bond beam above doors/windows to avoid the need for additional lifting equipment on site ? Not sure if we have seen this ?
    - assume the need for inspection of reinforcing in bond beams above doors and windows prior to adding concrete, that building house will be a minimum of 2 build days and a delay between. As inspection will need to be completed to confirm compliance before adding concrete and laying any rows of blocks above the bond beam. So Hadrian X would need to visit over two days. Bit of a pain in terms of efficiency, particularly as send build day would be quite short completing top rows only.
