    It uses a clear Bonding Glue rather than a Cement Mortar.  I'm not sure about if it goes on the sides but it's applied to the bottom of each brick before being laid by the HX.


    I could be wrong but if you watch with video at about 30/31 seconds I think there's a small drip down the side of a brick.
