Australia’s Fastbrick Robotics is pioneering 3D automated robotic bricklaying technology that is capable of laying approximately 1,000 bricks per hour. With that amazing speed, it can build the entire shell of a building in just two days, a fraction of the four to six weeks of hard labor needed for a human crew to complete the same task. Laying bricks far faster and more cheaply than any human can, the robot will also ensure the bricks fit perfectly by grinding, milling, cutting and routing different brick sizes to where they belong on the project, all without human intervention. The bricks then travel along the conveyor belt within the robot’s telescopic arm and are placed with great precision of 0.5mm laying accuracy aided by a laser guidance system. The robot can also be configured to leave enough space for windows, doors, plumbing and wiring, ensuring the other steps of the building process are cheaper and simpler.   Building on the resounding success of our 3rd Modular Construction and Prefabrication ANZ 2018 with over 260 attendees, we are excited to announce that we are launching the 4th Modular Construction and Pre-Fabrication ANZ 2019and this time you are welcome to join us in Pullman Sydney Hyde Park on 27 February – 1 March and in Pullman Melbourne On The Park on 4 – 6 March.
