Heck, in the case of most of the companies I own, I missed out on several years of investment return before I bought, and those companies still continued to create untold wealth for their shareholders from that point onwards.

Besides, even if I miss out on a few quarters' of return, I suspect I will still be miles ahead having not bought the stock when I first started researching it some 5 years ago. Especially, if I may be so brazen to add, when I account for the profits I have made my investing my capital elsewhere instead over that period.
