I doubt we will find out, but perhaps the deaths came from the early enrolments. That would be before SSH indicated recruiters needed more training and they held a training session for 40 Cardiologists in early 2014 to correct the situation.
It would also be interesting to know if the deaths came from just 1 or 2 sites, possibly indicating poor enrollee selection procedures at those sites.
Whatever the case, we need enrolments to start again as I totally agree the stock is being driven by enrolments.
