I have a feeling, we might get a conditional approval after the interim result is released, IF the result show at least 50% of treated patients wean off the ventilator. I mean the bar is pretty low in the standard care group, the highest survival report was showing 20% survival? SI is extremely happy with the FDA, and the covid19 trial is sponsored by the NIH. All the boxes are ticked, I have a feeling we will get FDA conditional approval between June-July. I don’t think the FDA can wait and allow the extra 100 people died from the control group. They can convert the remaining 2/3 of the patients into an intervention arm and still able to obtain meaningful statistical results to close the book.
