So what about insurers in the US - with insurance a testosterone treatment is about $97 pcm, and without about $440 pcm from one source. http://www.drugs.com/comments/testosterone/
Big diff. Might insurers not tighten requirements for insurance coverage? Could be an earnings risk before any study is completed, as they may only cover for hypogonadism. Maybe that is all they cover ATM anyway?
Not sure what proportion of patients is getting the insured price.
If anybody knows a bit about the insurance angle - would love to hear it.
