Indeed. Not the best Ambassador. More my point was that I don't get why AFL clubs were all over this and it didn't get more coverage at the time (pre-alleged arson incident!!). Sports medicine being the one area of medicine, where attitudes are less conservative. You've all saw the headlines on Tiger Woods getting stem-cells, Rafael Nadal, hockey legend Gordie Howe, Kobe Bryant, Mike Tyson, Peyton Manning etc. Some of these may well have been glorified PRP (such is the media) or autologous Mesenchymal cells at best.
We know Tenocyte tendon stem cells have shown significant results in degenerative tendons. I don't know how the rest of the world is so asleep on this.
