If the board said they saw a $10 share price in future, I'd say they're being reckless. Not to mention that they're a conservative bunch by nature, so even if they thought it, they wouldn't have said it anyway.
One thing to keep in mind with the above - if there is such a large market, a lot more money goes into R&D. Sure, it takes a while, but eventually someone may just find a better solution, cheaper.
