Doesn't that totally defeat the purpose of having a saliva testing unit? For intervention purposes I don't believe it's necessary to confirm a positive saliva test unless it is written into legislation for govt. agencies or policy in private companies.
For law enforcement purposes a further test is required normally a blood test & includes certification from a doctor or other authorised medical person (nurses etc).
