Soft yes, but hte bids built on the 12's to equal the 12.5 sells by close.

That usually signals the move, once hte bids out number the asks at a certain level.
There is often either a quick surge of buying, or sell orders miraculously disappear!

Yep I agree, the percentage gains in the options far out weigh the heads....but we need the move to come in the heads to trigger the next move all round.
