It is hard to say exactly but from what I can see, all the DTR samples are from the 30-40% Fe range so maybe they want to keep in this range to make use if these results and fall within the exploration target expectations. Lower grade Fe doesnt nevessarily mean a lower grade end product. They need some DTR samples from sone lower grade samples (15%-20%) to see if the same end product can be achieved.
Not sure why they did the mixed reporting but the initial grade doesn't matter - I've seen other companies with ~15% Fe making a ~70% concentrate such as IRD and RHM. Have you tried calling the company for some answers?
