My age is irrelevant in this, nor would you believe me if I told you. Stop trying to make this seem like a matter of not caring about people. I have said many times our focus should be on those in danger as it should be every year.
The data shows us this is the older generation. Almost all of the focus should be there, keeping kids out of school and shutting down the lives of healthy people will, in the long run, mean that those that need help won't get it.
Anyway, if 2.4 deaths per 100,000 is a bit high for your liking, how much lower would it need to go for you to think the lockdown was too much. Perhaps if it was 1.4 less at maybe 1 per 100,000, you might have pause to think, or maybe 1 per 500,000.
Also, if lockdown in its current form was not working in your eyes, what further restrictions would you like imposed?
