interesting then that most folk are eating, drinking, smoking, working, themselves to death.
if i was still so afraid of dying then i wouldn't be able to sleep well at night because i would be so afraid of dying during sleep
a more real fear is the fear of suffering, or being separated from those that you love.
folks find religious comfort in many activities - booze, heroin, workaholic-ism, sports, church etc... whatever
yes, whatever is done on a regular basis (religiously)
how about this for a mind-bender:
if you practice virtuously dying daily to the self, do you think that the fear of death will increase or decrease?
and you have stacked the odds in your favour
i suspect that death will be a hoot, for those that are well prepared
it can be a very worthwhile to view earthly life as a preparation for death
[the illusion of] birth and death is a ubiquitous expression of duality
