The Americans are not primarily selling out because of the Baycorp deal. They were selling long before that deal was announced.
Denver investment ceased being a substantial holder on the 2nd of October.
Between 15 July and 30 Aug they reduced their holding from 7.63% to 6.58%
Between 5 May to 15 July they reduced their holding from 8.82% to 7.63%
In March they held 9.91%
In Feb they held 10.96%
Before this they held a 11.97% stack.
So unless they have knowledge of the Baycorp deal 8 to 9 months before it happened they are selling for their own reasons.
