Completely agree again vinn, nothing has changed since you and I had that discussion in here about manipulative fake trading years ago. There is no hope with ASIC/Medcaft who are the servants of higher interests (correction: vested interests) - the only hope for clean computer/algo trading lies with the tax system: a minimum tax on every transaction no matter how small the parcel. As an investor and not a day trader I stand ready to pay a reasonable transaction tax from tomorrow morning (on top of the GST already paid on brokerage).
No exceptions of course.
Exceptions are a cancer on all tax - adding to the office towers full of drones required to monitor exceptions. Like the exceptions for legal naked short selling on ASX under the honesty system
