I don't believe that the FFS is a 'typo' - it is, as Tibbs suggested, that BMN are 'rolling all the other levels into one'. It will just take more time and money to complete a study, then a detailed study, and then a bankable study.
The reason that companies don't always go straight to BFS is because of time and cost - why waste a year and millions of dollars if you don't know that the mine is viable. BMN have decided that this is a viable mine as so are going straight to the expensive and costly study. We can only assume that this is because they want to be operational as soon as possible in order to catch some of the great prices forecast over the next few years.
This is what was expected and is good news.
