Heres a couple of other points that you may like to consider in your discussion.

1) the Queensland grid is not much further than the SA grid. Potential for a bidding war amongst the states to build the connection to the NEM for GDY.

2) All the carbon credits (if they ever exist) are already allocated to the cornerstone investors, for a period of twenty years after the first 50Mw plant is fully operational, if I recall corectly.

3) Electricity flows around the grid, so it doesnt matter to BHP where the extra power comes from, just that it does!
