My only thought about today was that it somehow involved short covering in sympathy with OST. OST was up another 21%. Of the 80million shorts, about 40million of them were taken out at roughly 77 cents. Volume in OST over the last three days has been roughly 240 million shares (it would average somewhere near 5 million per day). Thus, shorts covered but the roasting was assisted by new entrants.

Since many of us apply the same techniques to similar stocks I would be surprised if many shorts on AGO did not also have shorts on OST.

Of course, the OST thread is awash with talk of takeover. Maybe but I doubt it.

Interesting times. Market is all talk about pending US correction but as yet we have seen none of it. None of us here seem bullish so whereto from here???
