roaminoz told me once that eligible stocks are picked the previous month, I think.
I had a stock that had traded above 5cents,but was ineligible because of when and how the computer picks the stocks.
Rules are pretty simple, and competitors should be capable of editing their selections accordingly.
"The March competition will be limited to stocks that have traded an average of more than $5,000 per day in the last month and are valued at a minimum of 5c per share. This is to avoid results being skewed by very illiquid stocks. A list of the stocks available for tipping in this competition is available here on the competition page."
Although the computer program may say that a stock is eligible to be picked, it should be up to the integrity of the winner in a situation that he/she hasn't really won, to not accept the winnings.

full width | single post I'm not sure what happened. I can not really comment as to why either as I honestly don't know.
But never fear the "correct" winner will be given the title and the cash when the comp is finalised.
Unfortunately this never happened in January.
In the January comp. on ONE day in Nov. CSS was over 5cents, which the computer has used to make it an eligible stock in Dec. for the Jan. tipping comp.
