Peter Andren obviously thinks highly of himself - sees himself as a king maker in the senate. Why isn't he happy to continue to represent his constituency?

Voters who like a balance of power situation in the senate end up with people like Cheryl Kernot and Natasha I'llspoilya, Harradine, Fielding, Brown et all having influence far beyond their support base and often far beyond their ability.

Why don't we elect a government and let it govern? Why do some people want to block up the process by giving minor parties in the senate disproportionate influence? That was never the intention of the senate and it's a distortion of the senate role.

As for voters who want the Greens to hold the balance - words fail me - the only part whose policies would guarantee economic disaster.

    regards
