I realise this but its debatable whether the rba is totally independant, why does the govt often state in the press they dont think the rba should raise rates, thye should just let them do their job without the commentary.

And why would he use keeping interest rates low as his mantra if he has no control over them, was that just another blatant lie twisted in johnnie rhetoric?
