The states share in GST must also remain relevant to the rise in cost of commodity and skilled workers. Political debate consistently fail to note that State Govts are builders of infrastructure, the Fed Govt is most definately not. State govt bear the rising costs of transport, skills shortage and immigration resulting from Fed policy... need to stop with the buck passing and theory and pork and fund the re build of Aus.
