I don't think that I have ever seen an organisation with this much oversight.

To suggest that the US Fed is a law unto itself is ludicrous.

So then why do these congressmen continue to kick up a fuss about auditing the Fed?

The way I see it is that the Fed IS audited by an entity that is not necessarily all that independent or Incorrupt? otherwise why are all these congressmen / senators etc up in arms about the subject?

I know that you, being such a learned fellow would be able to guide these poor misplaced fools & bless them with your realm of thought of finance knowledge that us mere mortals could only ever dream about.

You are obviously totally beholding to the establishment and that's fine but I'm not totally convinced theses people are to be trusted, I'm not financially savvy so to speak but I did go to university, the university of life and the teachings I learnt at that UNI have stimulated my senses to tell me that all is not right with the Federal Reserve....its akin to making Dracula the manager of the blood bank....IMO
