Unskilled immigrants are arriving everywhere and illegal immigrants in the USA are all over, so people with little or no education haven't got very good prospects unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat or start their own business.

The days of wharfies earning more than everyone else are over. A qualified carpenter in the USA earns $61,000 average, not bad, a plumber earns around $75,000, an aircraft engineer $100,000.

Goldbugs love to portray the USA as a place where 150,000,000 people work at McDonalds, my advice is get on an aircraft and go there and check it out.
