without economic improvement --------------- consistent, reliable economic improvement - no fuddy duddy stuff --

the longer this mess goes on, the longer they have to QE.


Again, they can't pay their debt, they can't pay their pensions and they can't pay their services.

They HAVE to QE ---------------- no QE, no debt service, no pensions and no services.

tapering in this environment is pure crap.

Enlarging QE is more likely.

They have exceeded their limit - they are borrowing from pensions etc. --------------- how in the name of god do they think they are going to taper?

If they take a bit of milk off the QE teat ----------- where are they going to get that monthly shortfall from?

Cut more services? Cut out pensions? Pay less interest?


Hmmmmm, that augers well for stimulating an economy - and, it also almost smells like default.

How many more cities have to fall? How many more states have to come close to bankruptcy before these people come out and say they are stuffed?

They can't win a war, they can't run an economy, aside from buying big guns on credit, what are they actually good at?

Unless the US wants huge internal strife, they should throw themselves at the foot of the world and say - we have stuffed this up dreadfully, can anyone help?

Ditto a lot of Europe.

Only a global response is going to fix this - personally I can't see it happening - too much egg would go on too many faces ----------- but that is the reality.

QE tapering ------------ garbage. Unless of course you want to prick the pimple.
