    Ben never thought it would ever get to this. Most of the other "solutions" are essentially temporary (in the minds of academic economists), in that the juice added to the money supply & markets can theoretically be withdrawn at a later date, when everything is recovered.

    You can't withdraw a gold revaluation, however.
