I cant see it happening this way. When we see the white's of inflation's eyes with consumer prices rising alarmingly and global CB's actively fighting it with interest rates or attempting to withdraw QE, TALF, TARP, CRAP, CRUD, etc. will gold go up in a big way. The man in the street will be in inflationary hell at this point & finally acting by buying bullion.
